Blue Ocean Trade products come packed in strong, 30kg cardboard cartons (each containing 3 x 10kg blocks) or 20kg (monoblock) flat cartons. Our products sourced from Japan and Iceland come landfrozen from quality assured, modern factories, and packed in 15kg or 20kg cartons.

We are extremely careful to ensure proper observation of permitted fishing quotas and correct legal compliance, and to enforce sustainability in every aspect of our activities.

We are also active in preventing illegal fishing activities which could harm the marine bioresources, as we recognise that such activities threaten the ecosystem and natural habitat of the fish species on which our partner's trawlers depend.
Logistics and transportation
No matter the size of consignment or its destination, we take care of the logistics for our buyers so we can be certain that the order is received in perfect condition.
From the charter of reefers to the arrangement of containers for delivery, our logistics team plans and manages solutions that are timely and cost effective. Nothing is too much trouble.
Quality assurance
We go to similar lengths to ensure the quality of the product we supply.
We inspect every batch of cargo to check the freshness of the fish, the temperature control and that the size of fish contained are correct.
We carry out these checks when fish is transhipped from trawler to reefer, and then complete surveys at the destination port to make certain that the cargo has arrived safely.
